Draft privacy information — subject to service and legal review. This describes the current standalone prototype's expected behaviour from its code; it is not a completed international privacy policy.
Local device storage
Recipe favourites, pantry selections, chosen filter mode, safety acknowledgement and harvest/yield records are stored in browser local storage on the device. The current prototype does not include a user account or an application database for synchronising these records to a server. They may be lost when browser data is deleted.
Hosting and network requests
The website is served using Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may process technical connection information, such as network address, request metadata and security logs under its own terms. This prototype also links to external recipe and butchery sites, which may have separate privacy practices. We have not audited Cloudflare account-specific analytics or logging settings.
Sharing and exports
Use the export functions to save copies of favourites and yield data on your device. Exported files are controlled by you after download. Do not upload sensitive personal or harvest-location details without first reviewing where those details will be stored.
Before wider launch
The responsible operator must be identified and publish verified contact details, a retention policy, user rights processes and any required jurisdiction-specific privacy notices. This page should be reviewed if analytics, accounts, recipe uploads, cloud backups or other connected services are introduced.
